Daria Luzina, a resident of Yakutia, who assumes that her child was replaced in the Yakut maternity hospital 17 years ago, found out the sex of her child from the morgue documents. This was announced on March 14 by a source of Izvestia.

The woman said that she gave birth to a child in Khandyg, and the birth was attended by doctor Irina Evsikova. Luzina claims that a healthy boy was born, but she was given the body of a girl with pathologies.

Later, she started researching the doctor's social media and came across a photo that, in her opinion, depicted a child who looked like her.

According to the documents on the newborn's death, he was male. However, in the birth and death certificates issued to the woman in 2008 by the head of the registry office, it was stated that a girl was born and died.

"I wrote a statement to bring gynecologist Evsikova to criminal responsibility. She testified to the investigator," Luzina said.

The investigating authorities promised to seize the documents from the morgue during the inspection.

On December 21, 2022, in Sofia, doctors at the Shaynovo obstetric and gynecological center confused children during the process of their discharge and delivery to mothers. One of the patients questioned whether her child had been given to her, as there was not a single visual resemblance to her relatives. As a result, the woman did a DNA test, and her doubts were confirmed. The prosecutor's office conducted an inspection. According to one version, the children could have been deliberately substituted.
