The seven-seat Moskvich 8 crossover may go on sale in the spring.

The start of sales of the seven-seat Moskvich 8 crossover is expected in the spring of 2025. This was reported on March 14 by the Chinese Cars portal with reference to the dealers interviewed.

So, Dmitry Makarychev, director of Avilon Moskvich, said that, according to the plant, Moskvich 8 will appear in car dealerships in the spring of 2025, and the Moscow automaker already has ready-made models available today.

The sales manager of the St. Petersburg car center Wagner Auto said that the plant promises Moskvich 8 by the end of April, but this information is preliminary. Some dealers indicated that they had no information about prices or trim levels of the model.

It is noted that the Moskvich 8 is a renamed Chinese crossover JAC Sehol X8 Plus. The Moskvich 8 will become the fourth model of the revived brand, the announcement of the model's launch took place a year ago, in April 2024. Initially, production and the start of sales were planned before the end of that year, later the market launch was postponed to February, but the official start of sales has not yet been announced.

On March 4, it became known that by the end of February, the Moskvich automobile plant sold more than 1.1 thousand cars. The bulk of sales were made up of Moskvich 3 crossovers.

On February 25, it was reported that the Moskvich automobile plant published price lists for crossovers and liftbacks for the 2025 model year. Compared to "last year's" cars, the models increased in price by from 65 thousand to 97 thousand rubles.
