The Moscow Prosecutor's office demanded to open a case against businessman Chichvarkin.

The Moscow Prosecutor's Office has requested the initiation of a criminal case against businessman Evgeny Chichvarkin (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) for evading the duties of a foreign agent. This was announced on March 14 in the department.

According to the prosecutor's office, Chichvarkin publishes videos and materials on one of the platforms without indicating that he is an individual acting as a foreign agent.

"The materials of the prosecutor's check have been sent to the investigative body to resolve the issue of criminal prosecution of Chichvarkin under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Evading duties provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents")," the Telegram channel of the department said.

The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation included the entrepreneur in the list of foreign agents in June 2022. On February 11 of this year, Chichvarkin was fined twice for violating the rules of operation of a foreign agent.
