Citizens of unfriendly countries were banned from registering real estate in Donbass

Russia has introduced a ban on registration without special permission of real estate in Donbass and Novorossiya for citizens from unfriendly countries until January 1, 2028. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and it was published on March 14 on the official legal acts website.

"Until January 1, 2028, it is prohibited to carry out state registration of the rights of citizens of unfriendly foreign countries to real estate located in the territories of the Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic, Zaporizhia region and Kherson region, without special permission for its implementation," the statement said.
