- Russia, China and Iran stressed the inadmissibility of threats against Iranian nuclear facilities

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation said that Russia, China and Iran, during a meeting in Beijing on the topic of the Islamic Republic's nuclear program, agreed on joint actions aimed at reducing external pressure. The corresponding statement was published on the agency's website on March 14.
Thus, at the meeting, a harsh assessment was given to illegal actions and numerous gross violations of UN Security Council resolution 2231 by the United States and European countries, and representatives of the states stressed the inadmissibility of threats, intimidation and the use of military force against Iran's nuclear energy infrastructure facilities.
"The prospects for finding long—term, sustainable negotiating solutions based on mutual consideration and a carefully balanced balance of interests of the parties involved were discussed," the statement said.
Earlier on March 14, the Chinese Foreign Ministry reported that Russia, China and Iran had called for the lifting of illegal sanctions. The countries expressed their readiness for a peaceful resolution of the Iranian nuclear program from a position of dialogue based on mutual respect.
