Peskov: there are reasons to be cautiously optimistic about Ukraine

There is reason to be "cautiously optimistic" about the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on March 14 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Of course, there are reasons to be cautiously optimistic," Peskov said.
He also added that Russian President Vladimir Putin supports the position of his American counterpart Donald Trump on Ukraine. However, he still has some questions that need to be answered together.
On March 11, Ukraine expressed its readiness for a 30-day ceasefire during negotiations with the United States in Saudi Arabia. On the same day, the American leader announced that he intended to obtain the consent of the President of Russia.
After that, on March 13, Putin announced that he agreed with the proposal to cease hostilities in Ukraine. However, he asked several questions. For example, the president asked how these 30 days would be used — to continue the forced mobilization on the Ukrainian side or to supply weapons.
