Truck traffic will be restricted in the Amur region

The movement of heavy machinery will be restricted on the roads of the Amur region during the spring thaw. This is reported by PriamurMedia news agency with reference to the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the region.

In the southern regions, the restriction will be in effect from April 10 to May 9. In the north of the Amur region, truck traffic will be restricted from April 15 to May 14.

Such measures are taken annually to preserve regional roads during the period of temperature fluctuations. The restriction does not apply to public transport, municipal special equipment, as well as to transport that delivers food, medicines, agricultural feed and fertilizers.

In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, a similar restriction will take effect on April 15.
