Strong wind and snowfall predicted in Kamchatka over the weekend

Forecasters warned of worsening weather conditions in the Kamchatka Territory over the weekend. The cyclone will rule the territory of the region.

According to forecasts, light or moderate precipitation is expected in all areas. The wind will increase significantly on the coast. At the same time, a slight increase in air temperature is expected, KamchatkaMedia news agency writes.

Ice will appear on the roads in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The air temperature at night will be -3...-5 degrees, during the day up to 0 degrees. In the south of Kamchatka, the air temperature will drop to -13...-18 degrees at night, in some places to -25 degrees. No significant precipitation is expected in the north. The air temperature at night will be -16...-21 degrees, in the Tigil district up to -31 degrees.

In Khabarovsk, landscaping companies carry out round-the-clock snow removal from the streets. Due to the cyclone, a third of the monthly precipitation rate fell in the city during the day.
