The Jaecoo J5 crossover with karaoke mode will make its debut in Russia in the summer

The new Jaecoo J5 crossover will appear in Russian car dealerships in the summer of 2025. This is stated in the message of the joint press service of Avtodom Group and Avtospeccenter Group, which was received by Izvestia on March 14.

The new Jaecoo J5 crossover will be the most compact model in the brand's lineup. In the Russian market, the front-wheel drive J5 will be offered with a 1.5—liter engine and a CVT, while the all-wheel drive will be offered with a 1.6-liter unit in conjunction with a robotic seven-speed transmission. The ground clearance is 190 mm. The crossover is 4.38 m long, 1.86 m wide, and 1.65 m high. The list of model options will include a multimedia system with a 13.2-inch screen, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, steering wheel and windshield, as well as an all-round camera system with a transparent chassis function.

According to the company, the karaoke mode will be integrated into the J5 multimedia system. An audio system with reverberation effect and sound processing technology is capable of combining vocals and background music. Karaoke mode also has a built-in vocal removal function, so you can convert a track from your smartphone to an accompaniment by connecting to the media system via Bluetooth. The karaoke microphone, which has a noise-canceling effect, will be available at authorized dealers as an additional accessory.

It is noted that the car is adapted for trips with pets. The finish is characterized by increased wear resistance, and a special folding ladder allows animals to climb into the cabin.
