Lipetsk school teacher accused of beating a child

In Lipetsk, the parents of a seven-year-old girl accused a teacher of beatings. According to the father of the first-grader, the homeroom teacher hit his daughter. The parents contacted the police and went for a medical examination.

The man quoted by GOROD48 claims that the teacher slapped the girl on the cheek with her hand. At school, they say that the child has injured himself. The child witnesses disagree with this.

The victim's father is sure that this is not the first time this has happened in the classroom. For example, the mother of one of the students confirmed that there had been cases of assault against her son. She's going to tell the school's management about it.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region confirmed to the agency that they had received a statement from the legal representatives of the child on the fact of bodily injury. A check has been scheduled. A special commission has been set up at the school, and the Department of Education is aware of the incident.

The agency also writes that the conflict occurred in the school cafeteria. The girl wanted juice, which was not there, and threw a tantrum. The school's principal called the scandal "too overblown."

In early February, it was reported that State Duma deputies were working on a bill that would enshrine the very concept of bullying and measures to counter teenage aggression. The document will oblige schools to report bullying cases to the Juvenile Affairs Commission and the police.
