GAC revealed the price of the GS8 GX Traveller crossover in Russia

The flagship GAC GS8 in the GX Traveller version, which differs in design and options, will cost in Russia from 4.65 million rubles, including discounts. Sales of new items will start on March 18, the company said in a statement, which was received by Izvestia on March 14.
The main difference between the GS8 GX Traveller and other versions of the crossover is a special body kit in an off-road style. The car received a new front body design, LED front fog lights, 20-inch alloy wheels in a special design, as well as a box on the fifth door. The front seats are equipped with a ventilation function. The new GX Traveller differs from other GS8 versions in its increased overall length — 5110 mm versus 4980 mm, and width — 1976 mm versus 1950 mm.
A two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 231 hp (380 Nm) is installed under the hood, which is paired with an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive system is based on the Borg Warner electromagnetic clutch, which independently redistributes the torque between the axles, depending on the traffic situation.
Currently, the GAC GS8 is sold in Russia in four trim levels and costs from 4 million to 4.75 million rubles, excluding discounts.
The day before, it was reported that the new GAC GS4 crossover will be presented in Russia in a single package, which includes a large number of options.
On March 11, GAC shared new details about the equipment of the Empower sedan, which will be the brand's first four-door in the Russian market. The car will be presented in two versions.
