FAS has opened a third case against Svetofor's distributor in Krasnoyarsk.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has opened a third case against Svetofor's distributor in Krasnoyarsk. We are talking about the logistics company Retail Logistics Service LLC," the press service of the antimonopoly authority reported on March 14.
"The organization has concluded contracts with suppliers for the supply of food products, under the terms of which payment for the goods is made only after its sale by the Svetofor store. That is, the payment period is actually unlimited, while, according to the law, the maximum payment period for goods with a long shelf life (more than 30 days) should not exceed 40 calendar days," the FAS explained.
This condition forces suppliers to look for additional financial resources, which may affect the selling prices of products, as well as lead to a decrease in investments in production development and an increase in the credit burden on companies.
The Krasnoyarsk Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has initiated a case against Retail Logistics Service LLC on grounds of violation of the Law on Trade. If the company's guilt is proven, it faces an administrative fine in accordance with the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation(2).
Earlier, on February 21, during inspections of products sold in the Svetofor store chain, Rospotrebnadzor revealed numerous violations. It is reported that mandatory requirements were violated in every fifth sample of dairy products out of 3,468 samples examined.
On February 19, the Rosselkhoznadzor checked Svetofor stores in Transbaikalia. Violations were also found during the raids. On February 17, a Moscow court suspended the operation of two Svetofor stores in the Northeastern Administrative District for 60 days. In early February, the Rosselkhoznadzor discovered violations in the Svetofor chain stores throughout Russia. The speech, in particular, concerned the sale of dairy, meat and fish products.
