- A Ukrainian prisoner told about the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a hail of mines on his own

Mikhail Belov, a prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), told how he was hit by a hail of his own mines in the border area of the Kursk region. The video was published on March 14 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
He noted that he was detained by "human traffickers" from the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) in Lviv, where he was not given the opportunity to undergo training and was immediately sent to a combat zone.
While in position in the Kursk region, Belov said that they were supposed to be replaced by specialists from the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR), but instead of the expected reinforcements, they were fired at from mortars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We came to the position, the Gurovs were supposed to change us there, but we did not wait for them. I think they weren't even going to go there," the Ukrainian prisoner said.
In addition, Belov said that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine threatened his unit with reprisals in case of surrender to Russian troops. One of his comrades with the call sign Beaver tried to escape and was shot by his own men.
According to the Ukrainian prisoner, during his stay at the position, he was also attacked by his own mines.
On February 6, Maxim Voloshin, a captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the Ukrainian commanders did not plan the fighting well and did not explain the tasks to the soldiers, which caused them to suffer heavy losses. Upon reaching the position, they immediately came under fire from the Russian Armed Forces (AF), and one of the AFU fighters died on the spot. An hour later, the command ordered them to move down the street, and during the attempts to do so, all the colleagues surrounding Voloshin died.
