GP discovered embezzlement of 100 million rubles at the Institute of Education Quality Assessment

The Prosecutor General's Office (GP) of Russia has revealed embezzlement of over 100 million rubles on contracts at the Institute for Educational Quality Assessment. This was reported on the GP's website on March 14.

"The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation established during the audit that in 2021-2022. The Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science has concluded state contracts for the performance of work (provision of services) to study the quality of training for students of educational institutions in the amount of over 140 million rubles," the statement said.

At the same time, officials, in order to steal budget funds, organized a scheme involving organizations controlled by the institution and the subsequent conclusion of fictitious contracts for the performance of work. As a result, more than 100 million rubles of budget funds were stolen.
