36 people were injured in a bus accident in Thailand's Phetchaburi province. This was reported by the Khaosod newspaper on March 14.

"A tourist bus carrying foreign tourists lost control and crashed into an electric pole," the newspaper quoted local police colonel Tip Khengkum as saying.

As a result of the investigation, it was established that the driver felt sleepy during the trip at night and fell asleep. According to the colonel, the bus flew off the road and crashed into two broken high-voltage electric poles. As a result, 15 Thais, 12 Burmese and 9 Americans were injured, Khengkuma said. All of them were taken to the hospital with various injuries. Three of them are in serious condition.

On March 12, it was reported that 13 people were killed and 20 others injured in a bus accident in Bolivia. Then, due to landslides caused by rains, the bus left the road and crashed into a rock on the highway near the town of Tomaikuri.
