- France pointed out the absence of names of European leaders in Putin's speech on Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin did not mention the leaders of European countries in his speech on the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine. This was reported on March 13 by the French newspaper Les Echos.
The publication drew attention to the fact that the Russian leader mentioned the leaders of South Africa, China, India and Brazil, the "main BRICS countries" involved in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. However, not a word was said about the heads of European countries.
"Not a word about the Europeans," the newspaper stressed.
On the same day, the Russian president, during a conversation with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, said that he agreed with the proposal to cease hostilities in Ukraine. Putin also asked how the 30 days allotted for the cessation of hostilities would be used to continue the forced mobilization in Ukraine or to supply weapons.
