- Reuters has learned about plans to transfer American GLSDB missiles to Kiev instead of ATACMS

The United States is ready to resume sending high-precision GLSDB long-range missiles to Kiev instead of ATACMS tactical missiles, whose stocks ran out in Ukraine at the end of January. This was reported on March 13 by the Reuters news agency, citing sources.
"Repeated use of GLSDB on the battlefield may occur in the coming days, as their stocks are already available in Europe. The Ukrainians last used these weapons a few months ago," the agency quoted the sources as saying.
According to them, the supply of high-precision long-range GLSDB missiles, which are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 150 km, should make up for the shortage of ATACMS missiles capable of destroying targets at a distance of up to 300 km.
According to the agency, the GLSDB missiles have been upgraded to more effectively combat Russian electronic jamming systems. Contracts for the purchase of these shells were concluded during the administration of former US President Joe Biden.
The day before, the Associated Press reported that Ukraine had exhausted all its reserves of American ATACMS ballistic missiles. According to one American official, the United States has supplied fewer than 40 such missiles, which Kiev ran out of at the end of January.
