Calculations of D-30 howitzers of the 25th combined arms army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed a tank, a vehicle with ammunition in motion, mortar crews and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on March 14 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the gunners calculate the coordinates of the target based on information received from intelligence. They perform tasks around the clock and in any weather.

After detecting the target, the calculations, using the adjustment of artillery fire from the air, struck the enemy positions and destroyed them.

"The D-30 belongs to the medium type of howitzers, it has a 122-millimeter caliber. To defeat lightly armored vehicles, medium tanks, shelters, infantry, well, she has a lot of tasks. Any tasks can be performed, it has proven itself and performs its tasks perfectly," said a senior battery officer with the call sign Tiger.

Thanks to the accurate actions of the gunners, the enemy is losing its manpower and equipment in all directions. D-30 crews constantly perform combat missions to destroy units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The howitzer allows you to inflict fire damage at a distance of over 15 km, which makes it possible for Russian servicemen to remain unnoticed.
