Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were introduced at Sochi airport. This was announced on March 14 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"To ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights, temporary restrictions were imposed on the operation of Sochi Airport (ICAO code: URSS) at 02:53 Moscow time," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
