Moscow residents voted for the visual concept of the new Great Moscow Circus. This was announced on Thursday, March 13, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his blog.

The voting took place on the website of the Active Citizen project. According to the citizens, the capital needs a new Large Circus, a modern multifunctional venue for unique shows and everyday recreation, the Moscow City News agency notes.

In the near future, specialists will start developing urban planning and design documentation. The circus will be built in the Mnevnikovskaya floodplain in the north-west of Moscow.
