The court arrested the director of the RANEPA branch in a bribery case

The court granted the investigator's request and chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the director of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the RANEPA in the case of a bribe. This was reported on March 13 in the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the region.

"Today, the court granted the petition of the investigator for particularly important cases <...> to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of the accused," the department's Telegram channel says.

A criminal case against the director of the RANEPA branch was initiated on March 12. It was clarified that the director and one of his subordinates received a bribe from the student, which exceeded 1 million rubles, while providing him with education without exams.
