The military told about the evacuation of residents after the liberation of the village of Kazachya Loknya

In the Kursk region, the evacuation of civilians from the village of Kazachya Loknya, liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), continues. The military told Izvestia about this on March 13.

The removal takes place in difficult conditions — the terrain is difficult to traverse due to the spring mud, and the highway is still dangerous.

"It's difficult to get on buses to load the local population as much as possible, so the fighters are still transporting people in parts, but they still need to get there. Because of the spring mud, even an all-wheel—drive pickup truck gets stuck in the mud," said a fighter from the Akhmat special forces with the call sign Joker.

According to residents of the village of Kazachya Loknya, Ukrainian militants forbade the use of Russian dictionaries, the wearing of St. George's ribbons, and any attempt to disobey was punished.

"They didn't let me go for water, they shot at my legs," said local resident Alexander Sultanov.

During the retreat, the militants did not stop shelling the village. For the last three days before leaving, they carried out massive strikes, destroying houses and scaring the remaining residents. However, now the civilian population is leaving the war zone and going to Kursk.

"The main thing is to be alive and well. They survived. We survived," the evacuees say, leaving their homes.

The video shows that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used civilians as human shields, placing artillery pieces directly in residential areas.

"A Ukrainian 120 [mm] caliber artillery piece was installed in the middle of the street, right in front of houses where people were hiding in basements," said Izvestia correspondent Emil Timashev.

"The task is to finally defeat the enemy in the Kursk region as soon as possible"

Putin, in military uniform, held a meeting at one of the command posts of this group of troops.

On March 12, residents of the village of Kazachya Loknya told Izvestia about the seven months they spent under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to people, the Ukrainian militants promised to take care of the population, but in fact they treated people cruelly.

The village of Kazachya Loknya was liberated on March 12. The Defense Ministry added that during those days, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 260 soldiers. In addition, a tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, three armored personnel carriers, and 10 armored combat vehicles were hit.
