Peskov accused Europe of trying to justify spending on weapons with the help of the Russian Federation

European countries are trying to invent an enemy to justify significant spending on weapons, Russia is the most suitable for these purposes. This was announced on March 13 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"These are exorbitant costs for EU countries. They will lose their competitiveness. Many countries simply cannot afford it, as the economy is stagnating. In order to argue this, what should be done? We need to invent an enemy in every possible way. From their point of view, no one is better suited for this," he believes.
