Two new reservoirs will appear in the south of Crimea

Two new reservoirs, Solnechnogorskoye and Martovskoye, will be built in Crimea. Water bodies will be able to accommodate 5.5 million and 8.5 million cubic meters, said the head of the Council of Ministers of the Republic Yuri Gotsanyuk in his social networks.
Natural runoff reservoirs will be located on the Marta and Ulu-Uzen Vostochny rivers. According to Gotsanyuk, this will reduce the risk of water scarcity in the southwestern part of the peninsula during a drought.
The facilities will be able to meet the needs of Bolshaya Alushta, Bolshaya Yalta and nearby settlements. Their estimated cost is estimated at 22 billion rubles.
As noted by IA SevastopolMedia, in January, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the start of reservoir design. He also clarified that the money for the construction is included in national projects.
Earlier in March, it was reported that a new Golden Sands seaside resort would be built in the west of Crimea on Putin's instructions. It will be located between the cities of Saki and Yevpatoria.
