The new Deepal car brand will enter the Russian market

The Deepal brand, which is part of the Changan concern, will appear on the Russian car market. Its first model will be the S07 hybrid crossover, according to the Chinese Cars portal on March 13, which examined the Rosaccreditation database. It is expected that sales of the new product in Russia will begin in the first half of 2025.

The Deepal S07 crossover has already been imported into the country for certification. We are talking about a modification of the S07 with a serial hybrid, such a model is equipped with a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine acting as a generator and an electric motor on the rear axle with a capacity of 238 hp. In China, the Deepal S07 of the 2025 model year is equipped with two battery options — with a capacity of 31.7 and 39 kWh. The electric power reserve is in the range of 215-285 km.

The length of the crossover is 4750 mm with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. In the cabin, the number of physical buttons is kept to a minimum. The functions are controlled via a 15.6-inch display. The transmission selector is located behind the steering wheel, and two wireless smartphone chargers are located on the central tunnel.

In 2025, Changan Motors Rus introduced the Avatr brand to the Russian market. Sales of the Avatr 11 electric crossover at a price of 6.95 million rubles started in January.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Exlantix premium brand cars will go on sale in Russia in April and will be presented at Exeed dealerships. The first Exlantix model introduced in the Russian market will be the ET crossover.
