Pushilin pointed out the large number of houses to be restored in Kurakhovo.

Many residential buildings in Kurakhovo, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), are subject to restoration. This was announced on March 13 by the head of the region Denis Pushilin following a visit to the city together with the first deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergey Kiriyenko.
"There is destruction, and it is increasing: unfortunately, the enemy, retreating, is shelling the city. But based on the existing experience, we have concluded that many houses are subject to restoration," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Pushilin also stressed that there are people in Kurakhovo who have decided not to leave their homes, they are supported by the Popular Front. Employees of the UFSB for the DPR and the Interior Ministry of the region also work in the city.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of Kurakhovo by the Russian military on January 6. The ministry said that this is the largest city in the south-west of Donbass. During the fighting to liberate the settlement, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost more than 12,000 people and about 3,000 weapons and military equipment.
