Finland allocated Ukraine the 28th military aid package worth €200 million at a meeting of the defense ministers of the two countries. This was announced on March 13 on the website of the Finnish Ministry of Defense.

"At the ministerial meeting, Finland announced the next, 28th package of arms assistance to Ukraine. Its cost is about 200 million euros. The package is subject to approval by the government and the President of the Republic," the statement said.

It is specified that during the meeting, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and his counterpart Antti Hyakkanen signed a memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation between the countries.

French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecorny announced on March 9 that Paris plans to provide military assistance to Kiev in 2025 for €195 million at the expense of frozen Russian assets. It was noted that these funds would allow the supply of 155-mm shells and AASM bombs, which are used on Ukrainian Mirage-2000 fighters.

Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 3 that attempts to seize frozen assets of the Russian Federation for transfer to Ukraine would have serious legal consequences. He noted that there have been more and more such ideas in the West lately.
