The FSB found St. George ribbons in parcels with bombs for the military

The security forces prevented a series of terrorist attacks against the Russian military and officials using booby-trapped perfume kits sent by mail, St. George ribbons and congratulations from February 23 were also found in them. This was announced on March 13 by the FSB Public Relations Center (COC).
The footage shows boxes with St. George's ribbons attached to them, as well as a postcard congratulating Defender of the Fatherland Day. The ministry clarified that the explosive devices were supposed to go off when the package was opened by the recipient.
"During the inspection activities at the Chelyabinsk airport, five parcels containing improvised explosive devices disguised as gift perfume sets were found in the mail, which were defused by explosives experts from the FSB of Russia who arrived at the scene," the statement said.
FSB officers detained a Russian man, born in 2003, recruited by the Ukrainian special services, who sent these parcels for money to military personnel and officials living in Moscow, Voronezh, as well as in the Krasnodar Territory and the Saratov region. In addition, in Chelyabinsk, law enforcement officers found four more homemade bombs in a cache, which were intended to be sent to military personnel living in the Tver, Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod and Kaluga regions.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of explosives or explosive devices").
On March 3, the Russian FSB neutralized a native of the Central Asian region who was planning terrorist attacks in the Moscow metro, as well as in a synagogue near Moscow. It is noted that the man was going to commit terrorist attacks using improvised explosive devices. He conducted a reconnaissance of the area in advance and purchased components for making explosives.
