VTsIOM: 73% of Russians believe that the reunification of Crimea with Russia was beneficial for the country

86% of Russians have a positive attitude towards the reunification of the Republic of Crimea with the Russian Federation, 73% believe that this decision was useful for the country. This was announced on March 13 by Mikhail Mamonov, Head of the VTsIOM Political Research Department, at the Izvestia Press Center as part of a round table of the Expert Institute for Social Research (EISR) on the topic: "Reunification of Crimea and Russia: 11 years of a new life."
According to him, 59% of respondents stressed that the annexation of Crimea would have a positive impact on the geopolitical situation of the Russian Federation.
