The Dome of Donbass air defense and electronic warfare system prevented an attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on civilians in Makeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on March 13 by the FSB in the region.

It is specified that two aircraft-type drones and a quadcopter carried out reconnaissance of the area near residential areas. They were loaded with live ammunition. The objects were detected and intercepted by the electronic warfare system.

"Explosives experts of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the DPR using special technical means neutralized drones and seized explosive objects for destruction at a specialized landfill," the agency said in a statement.
