Four people were suspected of preparing a terrorist attack in Stavropol during the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day. This was reported in the press service of the FSB in the region.

"The Federal Security Service of Russia for the Stavropol Territory has documented the illegal activities of four local residents involved in the preparation of a terrorist act," the TASS news agency reports.

According to the investigation, the suspects are supporters of one of the Ukrainian terrorist organizations banned in Russia.

Operatives found improvised explosive devices and detonators in the places of residence of the attackers.

As a result, a criminal case was opened against the suspects on the fact of preparing a terrorist act.
