The special services of Ukraine promised $6,000 to a Russian man who sent parcels with bombs disguised as perfume sets to military personnel and civil servants, but the money was never paid. The agency showed footage of the saboteur's arrest on March 13.
"I met a certain Anton on the Internet, who, as it turned out, lives in Ukraine. He gave me the task to identify cars and (the place of residence of individuals in Yekaterinburg at a military factory for a monetary reward. Next, I went to Engels to also recognize cars and accommodation at two addresses and one house for a monetary reward as well," he said.
According to him, the task was to collect information about the military personnel of the air base in Engels. Then he had to take five caches of perfumes and explosives in Chelyabinsk and mail them to Engels, Lyubertsy and Voronezh. For performing these actions, he was promised $ 6 thousand.
On the same day, it was reported that the FSB had prevented a series of terrorist attacks against the military and officials of the Russian Federation using booby-trapped perfume kits sent by mail. A Russian citizen, born in 2003, who was recruited by the Ukrainian special services, was detained on this fact. A criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident.
