Mortar men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) open fire on their own military. This was announced on March 13 by the captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Mikhalev.

Mikhalev told how he was stopped to check his documents, after which he was immediately detained and taken to get a military ID. The document was prepared in less than an hour and a half. Next, the military was sent to undergo training at a training ground in Germany. During the training process, neither he nor his colleagues had any desire to serve.

"We got into position, and drones started flying over us right away, low and not just one. Then the mortar began to cover. Moreover, ours, I found out that it was our mortar. We ignored it all, took the handle off the machine gun, and went to the basement. And the fact that we left the position, we did not inform anyone, for this the article could fly," he said.
