Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the Hydrometeorological center's department, predicted a cold snap in the capital next weekend on March 12. According to him, the temperature will be only two degrees above normal. In addition, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, warned Muscovites about a nine-point storm expected on Friday, March 14. He added that wind gusts will reach 18-23 m/s in the middle of the day.
