An IL-76 aircraft performed the sanitary evacuation of three victims of a gas explosion in Argun, including two children, and delivered them to Nizhny Novgorod. This was announced on March 13 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"The IL-76 aircraft performed the sanitary evacuation of three people, including two children. They received burns as a result of the explosion of a gas—air mixture in a hardware store in Argun on March 8," the press service said in a Telegram channel.

It is specified that during the flight, qualified specialists from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation were traveling with the passengers. In addition, the aircraft itself was equipped with medical modules, artificial respiration machines and heart monitors.
