The Expert Council for the Development of Mathematical and Natural Science Education in schools was established in Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, March 12, by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Social Development.

According to her, key areas of education are being strengthened to ensure a high level of knowledge and prepare children for the future.

"One of these areas is the development of school mathematics and science education. The subjects related to it are the basis for the formation of logical and critical thinking, they create the necessary basis for mastering most educational programs," the Moscow City News Agency quotes Rakov.

In the spring, a new system of training and advanced training of mathematics teachers will begin to be formed. Starting from the new academic year, urban math, science, and technology courses for grades 1-6 will be available in schools.

The Expert Council will work on these issues, writes "Moscow 24". It includes over 50 specialists in the fields of mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and biology. The main tasks of the expert council are the coordination and examination of additional educational programs, textbooks, advanced training courses for teachers, and the analysis of best pedagogical practices. kp.ru .

On March 9, the Ministry of Education announced that in Russian schools this year, the last calls will be held on May 24, and graduation parties on June 28.
