In Moscow, law enforcement agencies have opened a criminal case against the management of the drugstore "Leksfarm" for the sale of substandard and unregistered medicines in Russia, including prescription drugs "Ozempik" by the Danish company Novo Nordisk and "Orgalutran" by the Dutch Organon.

According to RNC Pharma, the last official delivery of Ozempik to Russia took place at the end of 2023. However, it is still possible to buy it in pharmacies or through buyers, said Nikolay Bespalov, Director of Development. According to him, the drug is imported through third countries.

Despite the criminal case, you can still buy Ozempik on the Healfarm website. There it is available on pre-order at a price of 22-23 thousand rubles per syringe.

The drug Orgalutran, according to a source in Izvestia, was sold at a greatly inflated price in the "Medicine Farm": eight syringes cost 105 thousand rubles. At the same time, according to the register of marginal selling prices, the cost of packaging a drug with one syringe is 995 rubles, with five syringes — 4.97 thousand rubles. In addition, this drug was sold in the pharmacy with packaging in Armenian and without labeling.

Bespalov stressed that there is and cannot be any quality control when imported through other countries.

"Therefore, there are no guarantees that the use of such drugs will be safe," he added.

According to the expert, illegally imported drugs can turn out to be "dummies" at best, and at worst, they can harm health.
