KAMAZ told about the possible location of production in Africa

KAMAZ is negotiating with African countries to localize production, and Africa remains one of its key export destinations. Oleg Afanasyev, the head of the company's press service, told Izvestia about this.

"We are negotiating with a number of countries on the African continent about the possible location of our production facilities there. But it's too early to talk about specifics. Currently, KAMAZ products in African countries are mainly available in four-wheel drive. We are ready to supply our other equipment," they noted.

KAMAZ added that the African market is situational in nature: the demand for products varies depending on the country and the year, and there is no single trade as such.

"Africa is one of our oldest and main export markets. We cooperate with dozens of African countries, and this cooperation has never stopped," the press service stressed.
