The Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the special operation zone

On March 13, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of a special military operation (SVO).

The ministry drew attention to the merits of Sergeant Eduard Vasyukov, who acted as part of the electronic warfare (EW) complex and carried out the task of providing cover for assault units in one of the important tactical areas.

Vasyukov conducted a reconnaissance of the area, after which the calculation took up its position and the offensive began. Thanks to his competent actions, it was possible to hit five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Due to the lack of air support, the enemy retreated, and Russian military personnel occupied an important stronghold.

The militants tried to regain their positions and massively attacked units of the Russian Army with FPV drones. Vasyukov's electronic warfare system destroyed another 10 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and prevented the enemy from capturing the point.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the actions of Junior Sergeant Igor Vorobyov, who was part of a group of motorized riflemen who carried out a combat mission to support assault groups attacking positions held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the assault, the junior sergeant personally approached the enemy positions and destroyed an important firing point with grenades and occupied it. Having discovered two more Ukrainian machine-gun emplacements, Vorobyov destroyed them and the militants inside with targeted fire.

Thanks to this, the enemy retreated, and the Russian military successfully completed their task. When the battle was over, the junior sergeant began helping the wounded soldiers and evacuating them from the battlefield.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Molniya-2 aircraft type of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed the military personnel station and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of a special military operation at night.
