The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered heavy losses during the liberation of Malaya Loknya in the Kursk region by the Russian military. This was announced on March 12 by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Army General Valery Gerasimov, in a report to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
