A channel for smuggling weapons of the Batal-Hadji sect has been opened in Russia

On March 12, law enforcement agencies in Russia uncovered an arms smuggling channel linked to the Batal-Hadji sect (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation). According to the Izvestia source, some of these weapons were used by terrorists to attack the Crocus City Hall concert hall.
Law enforcement agencies detained several suspects, including brothers Magomed and Salam Tumgoev, as well as Bilal Torshkhoev.
According to investigators, they transported Glock pistols to Ingushetia in electrical appliances, parts of which were found in hiding places.
The detainee, 21-year-old Salam Tumgoev, reported that he was engaged in the sale of these pistols.
Investigators believe that the organizer of the smuggling channel was Ilyas Belkhoroev, the uncle of the Tumgoev brothers and one of the leaders of the Batal-Hadji sect. The channel operated for more than ten years, during which time more than 600 weapons were imported.
Currently, Belkhoroev is hiding in Ukraine, where he continues to conduct anti-Russian activities.
Earlier, on December 4, 2024, Mansur Tochiev was detained, who helped hide one of the suspects in the attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall and supplied the militants with weapons.
