More than 500 elevators were repaired at the request of residents of the Moscow region

In February, about 550 elevators were repaired in the Moscow region at the request of local residents. This is reported by the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya with reference to the Ministry of Territorial Maintenance and State Housing Supervision of the region.

Specialists were putting the wiring and elevator ropes in order, as well as replacing parts of the equipment. It was necessary to restore the operability of individual mechanisms. In some cases, elevators were restored after an accident.

The ministry recalled that an elevator malfunction should be reported to the Unified Dispatch Service of the Moscow region or by calling 122*4.

More than 13,000 elevators were produced in Moscow in 2024. These include high—speed, panoramic, medical and other types of elevators.
