Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented to Izvestia on March 12 on Zelensky's words that Ukraine would never recognize Crimea and Donbass as part of Russian territory.

"It's ridiculous to listen to arguments about independence from a dependent who plunged the country into total dependence. The Constitution of Ukraine has already been distorted to the limit by the Kiev regime.
