The Ministry of Defense published footage of the liberation of the village of Dneproenergia in the DPR

Units of the 37th Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 40th Marine Brigade of the Vostok group of forces liberated the village of Dneproenergia in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Footage of the military's combat work was published on March 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The footage shows how the Russian army defeats the enemy's manpower, as well as armored vehicles and ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that after artillery strikes were carried out on fortifications, temporary deployment points and concentrations of Ukrainian Armed Forces troops identified by intelligence, drone strike crews supported the advance of assault groups in the village, destroying enemy firing points, equipment and ammunition depots.

Earlier that day, it became known about the liberation of the settlements of Dneproenergia and Novomarkovo in the DPR. In addition, the fighters of the Southern Group of Forces defeated the formations of four mechanized, mountain assault, two airmobile, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the air defense brigade and the National Guard brigade in the areas of 10 settlements.
