Mishustin positively assessed the new requirements for loan advertising

The new requirements for loan advertising will make the relationship between banks and customers open and transparent. This was announced on March 12 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting with deputies of the Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth faction.
"Stricter requirements have now been established for the advertising of loans. People are required to be warned about all the conditions when concluding a contract. We hope that this will make relations between banks and consumers of their services open and transparent," Mishustin said.
He also positively assessed the joint work of the government and the faction on the adjustment of legislation on banks and insurance. According to him, a large package of amendments to the current lending regulations was adopted in 2024.
On March 1, a self-locking service for issuing loans and credits was launched on the Gosuslug website in Russia. Those who have submitted such an application have a special mark in their credit history, in the presence of which banks and microfinance organizations must refuse a person in the case of a loan application. At the same time, the self-ban does not apply to mortgages, educational loans and car loans.
