Sobyanin announced a record 500,000 visitors at the VDNKh skating rink

500 thousand people visited the skating rink at VDNKh in Moscow during the season. This year, the program has become even more ambitious, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his official Telegram channel.

The exhibition complex hosted over 120 events, including ice shows, festivals, and sports workshops. For the first time, bleachers for spectators and an ice arena for hockey and laser tag were installed at the rink.

More than 5,000 guests celebrated the New Year on the ice. Figure skaters Maxim Kovtun, Maya Khromykh and the Irina Slutskaya Theater performed on the stage. In total, over 152 thousand people rested at the VDNKH skating rink during the January holidays.

In February and March, the largest Charity Day, skating festival and Carnival festivities were organized here. VDNKH is currently preparing for the spring season.
