Ukraine is actually interested in continuing the fighting, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for crimes committed by the Kiev regime, told Izvestia. The recent drone attack calls into question their commitment to a peaceful settlement.

"They want peace so much that they have sent several hundred drones in our direction. This demonstrates Kiev's approach to everyone. Ukraine is solely interested in continuing the bloodshed, and it only needs to be forced to make peace," Miroshnik stressed.

On March 11, negotiations between the United States and Ukraine took place in Saudi Arabia. Kiev has said it agrees to a 30-day truce. However, this is hardly feasible — the Russian side has repeatedly stated that a long-term, full-fledged peace is needed, not a temporary ceasefire.
