Specialists of the Tyumen Center for Hydrometeorology gave an unfavorable forecast for flooding in the Ishim River. The governor of the region, Alexander Moore, wrote about this on March 12 in his Telegram channel.

According to weather forecasters, the water level on the river is expected to be above the long-term average. They claim that from mid-April, the indicators will exceed the mark of a dangerous phenomenon in the settlements of Kazansky.

"In general, according to the preliminary forecast, flooding in Ishim, Ishim and Abat districts will be at the level of 2017," the report says.

Experts have already begun preparing materials for the construction of embankments and fortifications. The number of possible insulated houses is still being specified.

Also today, Moore took part in the government commission for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations under the leadership of the Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Kurenkov.

Earlier, on December 27 last year, Kurenkov said that in 2025, the risks of flooding may arise in the Kurgan, Tyumen and Murmansk regions. He added that the agency has already begun preparations for the flood-prone period.,
