The American messenger Signal has stopped responding to requests from Ukrainian law enforcement agencies. This was announced on March 11 by Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Sergey Demedyuk at the International Cybersecurity Forum in Kiev.

"After certain global changes that are taking place in the world right now, Signal stopped responding to law enforcement appeals, and this continues to this day. Signal is used simply as a communication channel," Demedyuk said, quoted by the UNN news agency.

He admitted that the lack of reaction from Signal may be temporary, but stressed that it hinders law enforcement agencies.

Signal is an instant messaging application that clarifies "Газета.Ru ".

On March 4, the Reuters news agency reported that the White House officially confirmed the suspension of US military aid to Ukraine. The pause will last until Trump sees how the leaders of the Ukrainian side "demonstrate a good-faith commitment to peace."
