Oil pumping to Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline has been restored. This was announced on March 12 by the operator of the Slovak section of the Transpetrol highway.

"After the elimination of technical problems on the Druzhba oil pipeline at a site outside Slovakia, oil pumping towards us was restored," the local newspaper Dennik N quotes the company's statement.

It is indicated that fuel will start arriving in Slovakia on the same day in the evening.

Earlier, on March 11, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that oil supplies from Russia to Hungary via Druzhba had been suspended due to an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the measuring station of the pipeline. The foreign minister stressed that Budapest regards Kiev's attack on the infrastructure critical for Hungarian energy supply as an attack on its sovereignty.

Fuel supplies resumed on the same day after the damage was repaired.
